黃步青曾於1999年以蒺藜子裝置作品<野宴>代表台灣參展第44屆威尼斯雙年展台灣館，隔年亦以該蒺藜子作品參展上海雙年展。今年觀眾可大飽眼福，在大約140坪的挑高空間中，黃步青一展身手，再度以蒺藜子於金枝現場空間內呈現巨大的自畫像，並從自畫像中拉出上百條沾滿蒺藜子的棉線，相當震懾人心。

種子一直都是黃步青鍾愛取用的媒材，那象徵著一部份的死亡以及一部份的再生。在等待著死去以及釀著再生的過程裡，有著混沌又新鮮的力量；正如黃步青的作品一般，又巨大又細膩。

個展現場除了裝置以及一件大型裝置之外，也特別展出黃步青的早期作品，這些早期作品的媒材為素描與油畫。雖然是接近30年前的作品，今天看來仍然相當具有當代性。而在畫面與技法的處理上也揭示了藝術家往後朝向裝置藝術發展的方向。

反機心的真趣--讀陳介一的創作

一.
介一住在北回歸線穿越的嘉義，熱情的島嶼南部，我總覺得他之所以居住在那裏，與他的人格特質似乎有種說不出的呼應。2009年春天，我才會到了南方，到工作室尋訪他。
在訪談過程中，他告訴筆者：「在落款處的『彈甲一』，就是我」，那是藝術家姓名有意思的台語發音。介一也不斷告訴著我，他的創作，要在直覺與幽默中，找到藝術裏令人觀之躍動的 ── 真。
這個字，我認為，若作為描繪他的創作時一個核心的形容詞，應該不算牽強。但這個字，對他卻同時也是個動詞，有興趣的朋友，可以讀介一的「五十點」創作論述，可為一證，存真，對他而言，似乎總與躍動、難以靜止、不願被框限有密切關聯。從這點說，介一是不願靜止的，或難以停下來去變動、感受和思考的，而這正是許多優秀藝術家的必備質地，因為動，因為敏感的神經和浪漫，世界對他們就像是個幻化不居的奇異風景，挑動著眼睛、感官和心靈。

但也因為世界的變化無定，使得作品經常必須在新奇有趣（幽默），與某種悲傷中拉扯，或者說交織在兩者之間，對創作者的主體而言，世界正因她的快速變化，而顯得如此新奇、刺激，另一方面，卻也因為同樣的原因，主體總必須面對世界在如此快速解構中不停消逝的傷感，沒什麼能長久吸引著我們的藝術家，可以想像在這種生存方式中，伴隨的強烈無聊感。此處，之所以提及這點，與我對介一畫作的最初印象有關，似乎在他的作品中藏著更深刻的哀傷氣質和虛無，從這點想，我便可以體會到。無獨有偶，介一第一次較系統地爬梳自己的創作，即他的碩士論文（1998），主題便是幽默表現手法後的悲劇性格 ── 幽默的最大意義，似乎正在於它凸顯出一個不能跨越的紅線－當這條線被跨越後，我們便會發現世界變化不居的背後，意義的空無和寂寥。或者，我們尚可換過來這麼說，這個世界之所以充滿意義和幽默，對介一而言，是他的意志所賦予的，而他也始終堅持著這點，不允許任何人對此否認，因此，對他而言，創作，總是為了自身的。也因此，我們可以在他的作品與自述中清楚意識到、閱讀到，他的創作，始終是為了自己的。他並未預設要邀請任何人成為觀者。

三.
始終為著自己的創作，未曾預設任何人成為觀者，使得介一的繪畫，不曾刻意形塑一個清楚的主軸（或者說不為溝通與詮釋而做），更精確地說，他的創作所塑造出的空間，就像是座舞台，舞台上有著聚光般的焦點和張力，卻只有一個獨舞者，就是藝術家自身。介一在這座舞台上，實踐著他屬意的方法論，或者說，他努力地讓所有清晰的方法論取向，永遠難產；他盼望著一種不見機心的自然的創作。這樣的風格取徑，某部分成因也與他的氣質和天性有關吧。所以，如介一告訴筆者，他的繪畫，並不特別打草稿，也不預設作品最後的呈現樣貌，他只在創作過程中，按照直覺與跳動的思維，讓畫面自然成形，其中，充滿有機且生趣盎然的過程，正像介一說到：每當畫到一個時候，畫中正在變化中的物體，就會自己「轉彎」。所謂轉變，指由一種造型，轉向另一種造型，如由手、轉為鳥、轉為餐桌，再轉為其他可能相互連結的形式。這一切，就像是由一個因緣種子中長成的魔術般的造型大樹。那麼，若我們過度執著地要去「按圖索驥」的解答介一畫作中不同人、事物的「真正/單一」意義時，反而像是落入了一個自我拘泥的過度詮釋遊戲中了，將遠離了他創作最有趣的部份，顯得徒勞又可笑。

造型上自動變化的特徵，關於此點，介一還曾轉借超現實主義的「自動性技法」概念來捕捉它，固然，我並不認為他的繪畫是在試圖實現Andre Breton所謂的「純粹心靈之無意識行為」（pure psychic automatism），但他的作品，確實在有意無意之間，充滿著藉自由聯想而讓物象本身自由奔馳的況味。此外，介一作品的另一個特徵，也確實加深了他的繪畫中想像力奔放的特徵，亦即他對「無盡頭的思考」（The endless thinking）模式的偏好，在他的畫作中，無論油彩、壓克力，或者較晚近採納的水墨媒材，裡頭的山、水、空間、景物、人物、動物或樹木等形象，其實是（不斷地）交錯變化生出的產物，而在展示空間中，所呈現在觀者眼前的，其實只是「暫時的結局」（temporary end）罷了，我們千萬不要誤以為這就是某件作品的最終曲。

四.
自由聯想與無盡頭的思考，還有劇場及舞台燈光效果般的作品空間感，以及某種特殊的幽默與冷眼犀利等特質，構成了介一藝術風格的梗概，或許我們還可以在加上「遊戲的意志」一項，創作是一場不斷進行的遊戲，當無趣時，就必須停止，「改頭換面」。這樣的創作主軸，我認為在他大學時代的油畫裏，便已存在。在當時的作品中，玩偶般的簡潔化（圓潤體型的）戲劇造型人物，畫面中的人物、動物與景物等視覺物件的關聯，看似存在某種特殊的關聯性，讓人忍不住去觀看、去窺探作者的意圖，或去品嚐其中許多饒富人性趣味的指涉，甚至去進行完型心理學般的意義連結過程，但事實上，在這些物件之間，是不存在任何邏輯性關聯的，它們之中或許確實存在某些「秩序」，卻是夢境般的秩序，本質上是反（一般）邏輯的，介一作品中這些眾多物件和符號，即被以不合一般邏輯的方式安置和排列（技法上則趨向半具象），卻因此產生出某種真相與幻象混淆的新圖像，將創作者意識到的現實世界，以及他內心中的本能與潛意識等難被具體符號化的經驗，巧妙地融合了起來。

這樣因反邏輯性所產生的種種符號/意指流動的趣味和特殊面貌，在介一的壓克力與水墨作品中仍然延續著。介一開始大量使用壓克力媒材，應是在他研究所的階段，壓克力的水溶快乾性質，確實更能符合他自由聯想、揮灑的創作偏好。這裡，我們很難忽視作畫的速度，在介一創作中所扮演的角色，如他告訴筆者，即便如100號大小的作品，也經常會在不超過30分鐘的時間內完成。而這樣的繪畫速度，藝術家透露著某種不願究竟的特殊意圖，而過度的「究竟」，對介一而言，似乎是與藝術的質地相互違背的。介一自己的描繪方式，可能更為傳神，他把創作的過程比喻為靠近懸崖，而他所要做的，就是最大可能的逼近懸崖（這是一場刺激的冒險不是嗎），然後敏銳地停止，「轉彎」向另一種造型作為新出路，換言之，「過頭」的創作只會帶來一場藝術上的災難，造成美學上的困局。至於何時逼近懸崖，又如何判斷懸崖邊界已經到達了，介一回答是，我能清楚地意識到那一步的來臨。換言之，存在於藝術家的機敏主體中。

不願過度究竟的特質，也使得他在進行不同媒材的系列創作時，作品數量經常不會超過10張，探索時間也常不超過一個月。更重要的是，在探索的過程中，介一總會在看似疏懶卻又熱情的姿態裏，或說嘗試在「遷想妙得」之間，企圖捕捉到某個「梗」（我更偏好用畫面中的「刺點」去指稱之）。這個「梗」，經常會成功地創造出反一般認知邏輯的意象，若連結上段的討論，「梗」的出現其實就是懸崖已至、「轉彎」出現的象徵，由此，畫面空間的意涵與既有造型語彙被整個逆反。我認為，介一在從西班牙回國後所做的「粉紅荒原中的米老鼠」的作品，便是一個很好的例子。另一個好例子，則是某作中出現的，彷彿是在斑馬線上剖開的西瓜中帶著小丑長相的聖母。米老鼠與小丑長相的聖母等符號，似乎都不會出現在畫面中的那個空間之中，寂寥的荒原與歡樂意涵的「Mickey Mouse」、俗世不堪的城市馬路與神聖的聖母像，似乎不是同一個符號範疇中的事物，而介一的創作，也在如此意義反差極高、邏輯衝突性極高的情況下，為觀者開創出了新的認知模式，幽默便來自於斯，意趣來自於斯，但世界的分裂、不安定特質，和由於不安定所牽連出的伏流般的哀傷況味，亦來自於斯。但卻在我體會著介一作品中的哀傷感時，耳邊卻同時響起他的話：「我喜歡畫可愛的東西」，兩者間竟也不相違背。如此思索，感傷與輕鬆，虛無與熱情，幽默與暴力…，等等看似矛盾的事物和性格，我深深覺得其實都存在於介一身上，而這也成為了他創作的驅力和源泉。[1]

五.
在訪談中，幾次介一都與我談及了禪宗。這裡，並非指宗教上的意義，而是指某種創作的狀態：把意義、意涵與指涉的關聯性考量，全予以摒除，讓直覺躍然的活動和呈現自己。我能體會介一在提及這些創作狀況時所指的事物，那種渴望純粹的審美過程；但另一方面，我卻也感到，當人放諸於直覺或直觀進行創作或思維時，某種程度上，我們是否也將以最大的熱情，來旁觀這個世界，我是說，最純粹的遊戲心情，最具有主體性的創作狀態，是否即意謂著，我們身邊所有的事物，都將成為我們意志與想像的承載之物。我想，介一具有夢境氛圍的創作，就顯露出這樣的樣貌，他憑直覺創造了一個充滿樂趣的夢境，但在這個夢境中，卻也散發出了某種寒意，創作者念茲在茲的是藉著繪畫，「任性而為」地述說出對世界的欲望和想像，世界是為了主體的心靈、意志而存在的，繪畫語彙的使用與流變也只為此而來，而非為了觀者的眼睛。由此思量，反機心所創造的真趣，在自在與存真之間，同時也可能是殘酷無比的，這卻也是人性的寫照吧，人性裏那靈魂主軸般的自我，原就充滿著各式各樣現實與想像的痕跡，卻又充滿著各種意義創造上的可能。在真實與虛構之間，介一的創作，相信正為我們開啟了一扇望見人性痕跡與多元意義發生的景窗。

[1] 此外，關於他的水墨，簡潔地說，我認為，確實打開了一種很特殊的意象，並且也因為水墨的媒材特性，更使得介一能夠進行想像力的揮灑。水墨原本不是他常親近或思考的媒材，大約在西班牙留學期間，旅歐的生活，幫助他重新觀照了自身的文化，水墨才成為他經常思索、體驗的對象。但介一的水墨比許多創作者更為自在，更能「鬆」，他自然地納入了不同元素，並讓它們與傳統的林木筆法與山石皴法相互融合，還隨機地寫下許多意味盎然的題詞和落款。整體畫面結構有時紛亂無章，卻在無心機間顯得生動有致，呈現出某種現代的可視、可遊、可居之感。

1966年生於嘉義的陳介一，不論在畫面經營、繪畫技巧或是美學詮釋上，皆具有紮實的學院訓練與精鍊的基礎。繼師大美術系與東海研究所畢業後，又轉往西班牙塞維亞大學藝術學院深造，並多次於西班牙受當地藝廊邀請參展。
此次在金枝藝術舉辦「米老鼠的一生」之個展，觀眾可全覽陳介一從1992年到2008年的創作發展，作品媒材有油彩、壓克力彩與水墨。
1991年在紙上壓克力彩上的簡化嘗試，便開始了陳介一這一路的簡化試驗：讓純粹的線條更顯出造型的特殊與力道；而在1994年油彩於畫布上的系列作品裡，陳介一在古典技法與畫面上加進了卡漫的語彙，這卡漫的語彙不是當今流行的扁平，而是在肌理、線條與造型上表現量感與結構的紮實。1996年之後其壓克力彩於畫布上的系列作品，可以看到陳介一在快筆中追求更自由卻又保持份量感的結構與調子，該時期的作品可見他向寬廣處探尋與挑戰的活力。2000年陳介一開始使用水墨創作，在一系列的”黑畫”裡構築一個繼簡明又深沉的世界。2004年由西班牙返台之後，開始使用水墨與宣紙在大尺寸的畫面上，趨向更簡化的結構，並且塑造相當新穎、奇異又無厘頭的水墨意境。2006年則發展出「精忠報國」的布上壓克力彩系列作品，提出對歷史解讀的質疑，透過肌理、筆觸與顏色的精準配置，呈現歷史重審的荒涼感。
陳介一的繪畫顯露他不附聲隨流的倨傲骨氣與才華，在本個展「米老鼠的一生」中較能完整地閱讀他一脈的發展，好理解他在繪畫裡所呈現的黑色幽默、古典又反叛的美學以及仍然蘊藏力量的畫面經營。

A Hymn for a Small Town in a Leisure Mood

In contemplating Liang Chi-Ching’s paintings, we find that his twenty-year-long artistic career always waver between two poles : realism and abstraction. It is like the rhythm of a swaying pendulum : upon finishing a realist painting, the artist wavers towards the mental landscape of abstraction. He comes back and forth, several times without ever coming to a pause. The viewer cannot help muttering to him/herself：just why does the artist waver in this way？What is the relation between his realism and his abstraction？
It is more than ten years that I came to know Liang. He always concentrates on the painting practice in the house his parents left him in the small town, Yuanli of Miaoli county. The first vivid impression is the big fish jar at the entrance of his house, which is only to be found in the aquariums, wherein were kept a universe of fish which was so beautiful to the extent of becoming surreal. There were also thick plants and bushes planted on the rooftop. Then there were tea, wine and cigarette, which was necessary for chatting with friends, as well as the secret words written on the wall by him and his brother on whom he depended. Later, in order to focus on the interaction with the nature, he once moved, all by himself, to live on the hills between Yuanli and Sanyi, where there is almost no human presence. To see him, you had to drive across crooked mountain roads, which was not at all easy. I always have a feeling when confronting such an artist and the works he did in recent years : the paintings are like familiar melodies casually hummed, which are filled with the leisure mood of the taste of life in a small town. Even though with much confusion, an observer like me can enjoy the comfortable ambiance therein, just like contemplating the fish world he created.
Some people, including me, would naturally measure Liang’s work in the terms that are popular in the contemporary art and feel it to be quite out of time. This is particularly for those who are familiar with international biennials which they see as representative of contemporary art, they will doubt even more. In the years when the art world is already invaded by installations, videos and new media works, paintings on the easels are not so welcomed. Since Liang continues to paint ‘Taiwan landscape’ and sketches of plants, there is even less what we call the market potential. I ever wrote a text in order to resolve my such confusion. This is how I introduced Liang’s realistic landscape ：’Liang depicts Taiwan’s natural things and scenes slowly (almost merely one work per year). In order to concentrate on the interactions with nature, and to paint in tranquility, he retreats up on the hills all alone, where there is hardly any human trace. Fallow and After the Autumn’ are early works of Liang. There is no cattle, farmer or red doors, broken jars : thoses viually charged totemic signs. In his eyes, in the rural village landscape, there are only hills and forests in their tranquility, imbued with a delicate atmosphere. Fallow delicately depicts the village houses in their diversity with a beauty of collage, as well as the crisscross paths between the farms and light poles of different heights. Thus it rather creates a particularly simple realistic beauty and composes secular melodies of a normal village. Figure of Plants I inaugurates Liang’s serial depiction of all kinds of plants in Taiwan. With his superb realistic techniques and exceeding patience, he spent a whole year to finish the work. An obsession close to a struggle with objects depicted, or even to an intertwist of mutual interest, leads to the realization of portraits of banana trees, a familiar plant of the country, in close-ups. Whereas the painting does not seem to have any composition, it is intensely interesting. Figure of Plants II captures the beauty of the lines of the tree’s slender shape through the use of long format. As for Figure of Plants III, it focuses on the expression of the bulk of the Taiwan acacia. We cannot be sure about whether it is a bright sunny day when the Taiwan acacia is dotted with sunlight, or it is the loose impression left after a nocturne visit with yearning, imitating the ancient people who held the candles in their nocturne strolling. What is sure is that Taiwan acacia and banana trees attract Liang to a great extent. His attitude of close observation and concentrated seizure is close to a crash. If we imagine audaciously, we might say that the Taiwan geography documentation Liang created is like homeland love songs impregnated with emotion.’

Such is my personal conclusion following the context of the construction of landscape in Taiwan’s art history. I tried to interprete Liang’s work throught the geneology starting from literati’s ink painting of Ming and Ching Dynasty, which was a period for immigration and cultivation, the landscape depiction in the imperialist eye of the Japanese colonial, the nostalogic landscape of the native period to the construction of ‘Taiwan geography documentation’ after the martial law was abolished. Therefore, I think, apart from the artist’s purpose of ‘releasing emotion by painting landscape’ or of ‘using the landscape to express one’s mood’, there lies another potential attempt closely related to the construction of the Taiwan geography documentation pertaining to Taiwan’s nationalist land measure.

There are always regular collectors for these realist works by Liang. Since he painted slowly, it is difficult to have even just one painting. It often happens that a painting is still half-done and it is already competed for by the collectors. It is not difficult to understand the phenomenon : if we follow what I understand as works in the style of Taiwan geography documentation tinted with nationalist measure, it will not only help to ‘know, treasure, praise and construct the special scape and the history of a place in order to form local sentiments and identification, unite the community and thus the collective consciousness of a group of people’. Further, such works also help greatly in forming the gentry taste（or intellectual taste）of the community. For the elite and intellectuals who always reflect on the base of Taiwan’s local taste, is natural that they cannot be satisfied with the taste of the Seine River or the Mediteranian （the same for other foreign moods）. Yet either the Taiwan landscape under the ‘imperialist’ gaze of the Japanese colonial period mingled with a general impressionism or the nostalgic complex of the native period, both naturally possess a kind of regret from not being able to say everything as one wishes. Liang’s work remedies exactly this lack, like the distorted mountain folk songs always in foreign languages and tones which can finally be sung in the native tongue, thus resonate harmoniously with the real daily life. It is only when the songs are sung that one can really release the emotion.

However, how about the abstraction pieces？In fact, from Thoughts of Desire (1995), Interior Landscape (1998) and Interior Figure (1999) to the Follow, Walk soon to be shown in the Jin-Zhi Gallery, the number of Liang’s abstract works exceeds greatly that of his realistic ones. I always understand his such oscillation between the realism and the abstraction in this way：the lines and colors struggling to escape the mission of depicting objects and figures can eventually stretch naturally and flow, as well as transform to become the protagonist of expression ; it is only after the process that the artist can really express his mastering over the painting elements in all freedom and approaches the creation of his original artistic universe. Also, the colors, the lines as well as the light and the space, the aesthetic awareness of which the artist accumulates in his life can be secretly separated from the substantial figure and then stow away into independent elements elaborated in the paintings, and play the main role of that universe. I always believe that the mountain contour over the skyline of my hometown, the expression of the camphor tree’s bulk in front of my gate, the sunlight in the evening sifted through the windowsills, the natural match of colors of the Taiwan acacia’s tiny yellow flowers over the hills, as well as of the blue sky…he natural phenomenon which has not changed much since our childhood, and even other traces of life exert a decisive influence on Liang’s aesthetic awareness. Through a realistic labor in ‘struggle’ and ‘intertwist’ with the natural phenomenon and objects, the elements such as lines, colors, light and space hidden in the phenomenon and the objects surely often appear during the artist’s wake in the night or his subconsciousness, which hover but also seduce the artist’s inspiration.

In Liang Chi-Ching’s artistic universe, the realistic and the abstract are in a dialectic relation as they are the inner side and the outside to one another. Maybe in Follow, Walk, we can glimpse the evening murmur of banana trees, the declaration of the blossoming Taiwan acacia, the lonely secrets of the hedychium coronarium, the elegance dance of the farms in fall, the bamboo bush’s monologue in the morning… So, the homeland melodies that Liang hums, be it artistic mood expressed by means of realism or abstraction, are all filled with the leisure mood of a small town.

小鎮閑情賦——淺談梁至青的繪畫世界

細觀梁至青的繪畫作品，長達二十餘年的創作歷程始終擺盪在寫實與抽象這兩端之間，彷彿鐘擺的晃蕩韻律般，這廂畫完寫實風景，便晃過來畫畫抽象的心象風景，如此來回數次而不止歇。觀者不免心裡嘀咕：這個藝術家究竟為何如此搖擺？這人的寫實和抽象究竟有何關連？

認識這位一直住在苗栗苑裡小鎮父母親留下來的房子專心畫畫的梁至青，約莫也有十餘年的光陰，最早的鮮明印象就是他家門口那大得像水族館才有的大魚缸養著的美得近乎超現實的魚世界，還有屋頂種植的茂密植物森林，然後就是朋友閒談時少不了的茶和菸酒，以及和他相依為命的弟弟和他在牆上寫下的密語。後來，為了能專心和大自然打交道，他一度獨自搬到苑裡和三義之間幾乎渺無人跡的山上居住，要見他還得開著車行過蜿蜒曲折的山路，著實不太容易。面對這樣的藝術家和他近幾年的作品，老有一種感覺，這些畫就彷彿隨口哼唱的熟悉曲調般，充滿生活滋味的小鎮閑情曲調。旁觀者如我，雖心裡充滿著無數納悶，卻也頗能享受其間的自在氛圍，一如觀看他所營造的魚世界。

有些人，包括我在內，不免以當代藝術的流行語彙來衡量梁至青的作品，而大感其不合時宜。尤其，愈熟悉以世界各大雙年展等大展為代表的所謂當代藝術者，心裡的疑惑便愈趨強烈。在這個藝術圈早已裝置、錄像、新媒體滿天飛的年頭，架上繪畫的確不太討好，梁至青畫的還是「台灣風景」和植物寫生，這就更沒有所謂的國際市場了。我曾經為文嘗試解答過自己心裡的困惑，而這麼介紹過梁至青的寫實風景：「以幾乎一年一件作品的緩慢速度細細刻畫台灣自然物像的梁至青，為了可以專心地和自然打交道以及安靜地作畫，他獨自搬到渺無人跡的山上隱居。〈休耕〉和〈秋后〉是他較早期的作品，沒有水牛、農夫或紅門、破甕這些視覺性強烈的圖騰符號，他眼中的農村景致，只有靜靜的山脈和樹林，瀰漫著一股雅致的氣息。〈休耕〉將風格不一帶著拼湊美感的農村房舍，以及縱橫的阡陌與錯落的電線桿，一一精細描繪，反倒營造出特殊的素樸寫實美感，譜寫了一闕尋常村落的浮世曲調。〈植相I〉開啟了梁至青描繪台灣植物百相的系列。他以精湛的寫實技巧與超人的耐力，花了整整一年的時間完成這件作品。近乎與描繪物像『纏鬥』的執著，或甚至是相看兩不厭的『廝磨』，成就了特寫式的台灣常見植物香蕉樹的『畫像』。看似未經構圖的畫面，卻十足耐人尋味。〈植相II〉以長條形的畫幅捕捉身形修長的香蕉樹的曲線之美。〈植相III〉則將焦點放在相思樹的軀幹表情。我們並不能確定這究竟是個陽光燦爛的日子，身上灑滿陽光點點的相思樹，抑或是，效法古人秉燭夜遊，打燈夜訪相思留下的風流印象。能確定的是，相思樹和香蕉樹深深吸引著梁至青，他仔細觀察與認真捕捉的態度，近乎迷戀。如果大膽地想像，或許我們可以說，梁至青所做的台灣地誌是深情款款的家鄉情歌。」[1]

這是循著台灣藝術史上風景建構的脈絡所得出的個人結論，我嘗試著從明清移墾時代的文人墨戲、日治時期的帝國之眼的風景描繪、鄉土時期懷舊與鄉愁情結的風景到政治解嚴後的「台灣地誌」的建構這樣的系譜來解讀梁志青的作品。因而，認為除了藝術家個人「藉景寫情」或「以景抒懷」的目的之外，還有一個潛在的意圖，攸關台灣國家主義土地測量的「台灣地誌」的建構。

梁至青這些寫實的作品向來擁有固定的收藏者，由於其作畫速度緩慢，往往一畫難求，經常才畫了一半便被收藏家爭相購藏。這種現象也不難理解，如果，循著我所理解的具有國家主義測量暗示的「台灣地誌」式的作品，既有助於「認識、珍惜、讚揚、建構一個地方的特殊風土景觀及其歷史，以塑造地方情感與認同，凝聚社區以致於族群的集體意識」[2]，更進一步推論，這樣的藝術作品，對於型塑這個社群的「仕紳品味」（或菁英知識份子品味）也大有助益。對於時刻以台灣在地品味自省的菁英知識份子而言，自然無法滿足於那些塞納河畔或地中海情調營造的品味（包括其他外來情調亦如是），而日治時期的「帝國之眼」觀視雜夾「外光派」（泛印象派）的台灣風景以及鄉土時期的懷舊情結，皆不免帶有某些無法暢所欲言的遺憾。梁至青的作品，恰好補足了這個缺憾，猶如向來操著外來的語言和曲調所唱的變調山歌，終於可以用自己的母語哼唱一般，和真實的日常生活產生了和諧的共鳴，吟唱之時，方可酣暢抒懷。

然而，那些抽象的作品呢？事實上，從1995年「情慾思維」、1998年的「內景」及至1999年的「心象」，再到即將在金枝藝術展出的「隨‧行」，梁至青抽象作品的數量遠遠超過其寫實的作品。對於他介於寫實與抽象之間的擺盪，我一直這麼理解：那些掙脫物像描繪任務的線條與色彩，終於得以自然伸展與流動並轉變成表現的主角之後，藝術家才能夠真正自由展現其對這些繪畫元素的掌控能力，而著手營造自我原創的藝術世界。並且，藝術家自生活中所累積的色彩與線條乃至於光線和空間等的美學意識，才得以潛離現實實體物像，偷渡成畫面經營的獨立元素，扮演藝術世界裡的主角。我始終相信，家鄉那抹橫在天際線上的山巒線條、家門口那棵樟樹的軀幹表情、黃昏時透過窗戶篩進來的陽光、滿山的相思樹開著小黃花映著藍天的自然配色……這些從小到大沒多大改變的自然景觀，甚至是其他更多的生活遺跡，對型塑梁志青的美學意識，絕對都有著關鍵性的影響，而透過寫實功夫和這些自然物像「纏鬥」、「廝磨」的過程，那些潛藏在物像裡的線條、色彩、光線和空間等等因子，必然經常出現在藝術家午夜夢回之際或潛意識裡，纏繞著也蠱惑著藝術家的靈感。

在梁至青的藝術世界裡，寫實與抽象是相互辯證、互為表裡的關係，也許在「隨‧行」裡，我們可以瞥見香蕉樹的黃昏低語、相思樹的花開宣言、野薑花的寂寞心事、秋日稻田的翩翩舞姿、竹林的清晨獨白……。於是，梁至青所哼唱的家鄉曲調，不管是藉由寫實還是抽象表達的藝術情懷，都充滿著小鎮閑情的情調。

苑裡的春天，很愛情。苑裡稻田裡的金枝藝術，將於二月十四日情人節浪漫開幕。
進入春季稻田插秧之前，施肥用的油菜花緊蔟得像擁著情人入懷般的心花怒放；而在情人節當天開幕的梁至青個展，畫面上的繽紛色彩以及流動穿梭的光暈要讓金枝藝術的空間滿溢著令人酥麻的幸福。
睽違四年，繼2004年於成大藝術中心參展寫實油畫聯展之後，梁至青(梁高魁)在這些年來藉著在自然與生活中的體認，凝聚一種隨著心性遊走的專注，累積對於材料屬性與畫面掌握的熟稔，經營著畫面上那些看似隨意的筆觸與光影，這些隨意卻都是在乾溼以及下筆速度控制得宜下的精準結果，那意即這些精準結果是經過遴選淘汰的。看起來的自在，那底下得有著定意在去除與保留之間斷然選擇的絕對。
梁至青出生於苑裡，因著家庭的變故無法在大甲高中畢業接著繼續升學，爾後便在台北從事戲劇與演藝圈的舞台設計與監造的工作。工作多年之後決定選擇心之所向的生活，於是離開台北回到故鄉專職創作；這一待，就似乎離不開這個好山好水的苑裡故鄉。
原名梁高魁的梁至青，在「高魁」時期創作的是一系列的抽象作品，例如從1995年「情慾思維」到1998年的「內景」，及至1999年的「心象」。在2004年的寫實聯展裡正式以現名「梁至青」面世。問他為什麼改名字，藝術家沒多解釋什麼，看著他從過去隱含許多糾結的抽象作品直到現在畫面上的清澈，或許在這樣的輕盈裡可以猜得也許「高魁」這個名字對藝術家而言的確沉重了些。
不少人熟悉梁至青的寫實油畫，不論是芭蕉葉、芋頭葉或是相思山，筆下的台灣景物在他那特殊塗鋪的寫實技法裡，散發著一股非常清新脫俗的氣質。他總是有辦法讓畫面充滿空氣般地讓你以為葉子正在微風中輕輕晃動，總是有辦法讓畫面上的光線都有著微微的溫度。梁至青總是要讓畫面可以自行呼吸，不論是他的寫實或者是他的抽象。
花芽嫩枝探春之際，或許可以來趟苑裡之遊，在這間稻田裡的藝廊空間裡，和梁至青的「隨‧行」在春風吹拂中悠悠地散步。

迷魂七彩妙術師-李俊陽

初訪李俊陽居所的友人大概都會被屋內的景象給迷住。那是從雜草叢生的野地裡長出各式詭譎俏皮又充滿奇想意趣的生物。它們生長的方式恰似亞熱帶雨林中的爬藤植物四處攀掛垂生，還有蟲鳥隨時會出沒的生命感。成長於電影看板畫師家庭，從小生活環境充滿各種「工」與「師」：水電工小工板模工鐵工木工畫師廟公捆工叔公土地公…。一度是要學修機車，後來又改學畫電影看板，也畫過布袋戲舞台，後來的後來又去學畫廟的彩繪，熟稔佛像、門神以及廟宇彩繪的原色，畫著畫著，他突然想來雕刻木偶，就研究起布袋戲的造型，自己熟練了雕刻的技術後，發現台灣的布袋戲偶很不「台」，都是師承自大陸的傳統，他開始嘗試去找出什麼才是屬於台灣戲偶的原型，台灣民間故事人物、封神榜、西遊記、三國演義都是他揣摩角色的啟發意象，幾年下來刻著木偶遇到瓶頸時，他就索性放下就去玩別的。(註4) 李俊陽也畫過幾年的商業外銷畫，25歲起開始個人創作，至今超過15年，累積的作品量令人瞠目，從繪畫(塗鴉水墨彩繪於各式材質)，木雕，鐵線塑型，大小型裝置，現成物改裝，拾得物重組，空間塗鴉，現場行為演出，偶戲編製，實驗戲劇，他也參與過一些電視台廣告及戲劇節目的演出，甚至還蓋了廟！小可以是在幾百個ㄤ阿標童玩上的幻奇戲謔塗鴉，或尤加利樹葉上的眾生演義，大可以是五六層樓高的壁畫或十數公尺的土地公彩繪。空間類型尺寸大小都不是問題，對他而言，作品發表的條件與環境，常常取決於人與人之間最基本而真實的交往所給出的空間，即便是藝術生態的金字塔頂端。紮實的技術基底，以及彈性極大的轉換能力，使他思考的反而是關於創作精神與創作環境等事物。例如他有種蓄意的反骨，曾經在國內外做過駐村藝術家，
也參與過不少重要展覽，卻頑童似的搬出許多障眼法，走反步和擺嘻遊煙霧彈來模糊焦點，但其實在這背後，他拒絕快速成名的管道和短線操作的藝術經營模式，也思考著台灣「全面美化」(美國化的藝術生態導向)的藝術環境，以及巨大化重複化成為顯學的當代藝術品味。他看在眼裡，卻自行其路，在這之中尋找與自己人生歷程能夠應合的時空條件去安然發展創作。他的創作動力隨手可得(他稱之為「High點」)，看過他展覽以外的其它「作品」及被他稱為「遊戲之作」手創物的人就會了解，他對物與材質的高度聯想感知與操作能力配合得極好，並充滿趣味性。而這樣的趣味性不是別的，那是由於高度自我認知並對藝術抱持鬆緩的態度，才能形成的一種生機感。例如剛學拉二胡不久後，就動手製作了6把造型旨趣音聲各有勝場的二胡，並同時拉起小提琴來。對這樣藝術狀態的見解當然因人而異，但我認為那接近一種完美的歪斜，有神而似無意。從有形的手工藝人養成背景，李俊陽學到了民間文化的無形底蘊，他徐徐施展著當代藝術已羞於提及的技巧或早已喪失的藝能，以形式上的無窮變化，汲出看似隨機卻有脈絡可尋有土地可依歸的獨特創作風貌。 (註4)訪談：土味十足：台灣養的李俊陽，EGG Magazine 第27期，文字/林美慧。資料出處： http://www.eggo.com.tw/blog/egg/designer-blog-140.htm，2008.08.25

「資訊充滿我喜歡站著看它如狂風與大海一般浪費著」

我認為今天的生活已經不再是資訊爆炸的狀態，或許我出生的年代，資訊依舊爆炸，但當我有意識的時候，我不曾感到資訊爆炸的威力。我比較喜歡用「資訊充滿」來形容今日的生活，「資訊爆炸」似乎比較焦慮，而「資訊充滿」則有另一種態度。

聲音、光、位置，為這件作品最重要的元素，這三種不成比例的關係特別令我著迷。我們的視覺可以輕易的辨認光的出現與消失，有些人的身體會被這流竄的視覺所迷惑，感到暈眩或頭痛。聲音是最容易被忽視的元素，可能是我們的身體太習慣去「看」一個聲音，忘記去「聽」一個視覺。聲音與視覺的想像無關，聲音是一種與光無關的聽覺回憶。

燈光被我視為一個表達資訊的訊號，如電腦上的LED或是汽車的煞車燈與方向燈….等等，但是日光燈的訊號卻是失效的，日光燈對我而言是一個太有個性的光，他的亮起時間是依照自己的物理條件所影響，他所發出的聲音來自他點亮過程的震動，沒有定律、沒有規矩。

視覺是緊張的，而聽覺是相反的。

“Information saturation… I like to stand and watch information go to waste; like watching a strong wind blow or wild waves.”
I believe that the age of information explosion is over. Maybe because I was born in the middle of this explosion, I was not around before or at the time of an explosion to recognize its impact. I’d rather use the term “information saturation” to describe the way we live today. There is way too much anxiety associated with an “information explosion,” whereas “information saturation” creates a different emotional response.

Sound, light, and orientation are key elements in this work. Varying the ratios between these three elements intrigues me. Our visual capabilities enable us to effortlessly distinguish between the absence or intensity of light so much so that for some people, rapid changes in intensity of light can cause disorientation or even headaches. “Sound” is easy to ignore, maybe because we forget to watch for sound, like we forget to listen for vision. Sound is absent from our visually-dependant imagination; our sound-memories are completely unrelated to light.

Light, for me is a signal through which information is transmitted; for instance, LEDs on a computer, or brake lights and indicators on an automobile, etc. But this rule doesn’t apply to fluorescent lighting. For me, fluorescent lights have too much personality. This type of lighting has its own set of physical laws; the noise it makes is a part of its own process of powering up, and has no controllable governing rules.
Vision creates tension, whereas sound does the opposite.

如今，資訊已為我們所熟悉的事物劃出一道清晰界線，這一道界線如「信我得永生」般地宣判一切… 可以選擇「逃逸」，並非等同畏縮不前或背道而馳，不過是為了在宣判的夾縫中得以暢快…

對我而言，偶然發生在我眼前的事情總是比一切計畫完美來得美妙… 某日傍晚，在臺灣雲林與嘉義交界的河堤外海，偶然瞧見一只漁網飄蕩於海面之上，這只漁網劃破風平浪靜，隨風盪漾在半空之中許久，接著又沒入大海… 內心的悸動為這只漁網所牽動，在幾次飄蕩及沉沒的過程後，最後不再復見蹤影，最後面對一片寧靜的汪洋… 我才驚覺我應該試問剛剛飄蕩在半空的是為何物？如此意味著這「是為何物」早已不以「漁網」現身在我眼前…

我選擇在這「是為何物」中逃逸一切宣判…

自由最終也不過如此。

Nowadays, information has drawn a clear boundary for what we are originally familiar with. This boundary has certainly, as the saying “all who believe shall have eternal life”, pronounced everything to us… We can choose to “walk away”, but not showing flinch or even against the idea; we just simply want to delight ourselves beneath the “pronouncements”.

For me, an incidental scene is always more brilliant than what has been planned perfectly... Someday in the evening, I occasionally saw a piece of fishing net flowing above the sea outside of the boundary between Yunlin and Chiayi in Taiwan. This fishing net broke the peace, flowing in the air for a while, and then sank into the ocean. My heart was beating for the net as it was flowing up and down for many times until it gradually disappeared… I was left with a piece of silent sea in the end. At the moment, I was astonished and questioned myself what “That” was, which meant this “That” did not appear as a piece of fishing net in front of me anymore…

And “That” took me away from all the “pronouncements”…

After all, freedom is never more than that.

「隙間」這系列完成在2001年，是我在日本創作的第三個系列作品，但即便到了今天，我仍認為作品並未完全表述我對於「full but empty, empty but full」的概念，某種程度是一篇未講完的故事。

「full but empty, empty but full」源自對於感情的體認，留學生活是快樂且孤獨的，尤其在感情生活上不能預知最後的結果，可說這句極具哲理的探討，其實只是來自20多歲青春的牢騷；但在自我提出之後，才發現如此生活性的感受，其實可以推展成思想和藝術領域的表現，聲音、視覺、空間、光線，無不是構成此奇妙次元的可能。

「隙間」是這個理念的實驗，我讓來自生活的體認回歸到生活纖細的場景，在那些我們不曾注意的各種隙縫中間，我提示某種存在。這些被強調的隙縫，猶如生活在黑暗中突然被射燈打亮、來到舞台中間；其實，「隙間」也反映出那些身處異鄉的日子中，那些無法入睡的寂靜夜裡，當視覺習慣了黑暗，卻在其中發現更為黑暗的隙縫－它或許是一個通道，通往一個未知的somewhere else；那些被我照亮的隙縫，或許代表了我對於更為黑暗的嚮往。

之後，我看過不少對於「full but empty, empty but full」相關的表現，我甚至忘了我曾經如何以「隙間」去表達，直到今年汝慧同我再把這套作品拿出來時。即便到了今天，「隙間」仍是套很美的作品，雖然它未能把那個想法講到極致，但卻真的是我旅居日本幾年不可取代的記憶。

From the Narrow Passages series was created in 2001 as my third series in Japan. Even till today, I still feelI have not expressed my thinking about “full but empty, empty but full” completely. In a way, it is a story unfinished.

“full but empty, empty but full” came to my mind when I studied in Kobe. The life living abroad is cheerful but lonely, especially it is hard to find a promised relationship. Therefore, this philosophic phrase is a sentimental statement rather than a rational consideration in the beginning. But after bringing up it, I found it can be extended into the expression of arts as well. The mystery can be interpreted in sound, vision, space, light and etc.

From the Narrow Passages is the experiment of this idea. I bring the understanding of life back to the tiny detail of my daily scene. I found the narrow seams which we usually pay no attention to and emphasized them by lighting them up. From the Narrow Passages can be seemed as my diary of nostalgia as well - there were always some nights I cannot fall asleep. When the eyes were used to the darkness, I found the darkest things are the seams and stared them. They might be the passages to somewhere I don’t know. They are the symbol I yearn for the darkness.

Till now, I saw lots of works approaching “full but empty, empty but full”. I admired them and even forgot how I have expressed the same idea by From the Narrow Passages. If curator Emma didn’t ask me to show these works, I definitely wound not remember. Even till today, From the Narrow Passages is still a very beautiful series. Although it is a story unfinished, it is my recollection of the youth.

苑裡十一月秋末的大風翻騰著金黃稻浪，像是在進入光照時數開始減少的冬季之前，起舞紀念台灣這一年的經歷。

金枝藝術的策劃展「那光」為這一年提供了一個空格、一個休止，邀請人們在作品前面或是在作品裡面，用呼吸、用靈通、用身體的移動去感知光的存在，邀請人們除了娛樂之外，還能在光的存在裡專心，在專心裡重新得力。

李俊陽以水墨和燈管在黑盒子裡舖置了彷彿有儀典的空間。黑光水墨吸納了足夠的光，一旦空間充滿了黑暗，甫在光裡所等待的以及所醞釀的便會開始绽放鮮彩繁花。那花的鮮豔色彩不屬於日光也不屬於黑暗，它們存在於一個必須透過真誠才得召喚出來的隱匿世界。

每個閃爍的光點都是神諭。李艾晨在鋁板上滑移的油墨，似乎呢喃著對上帝的敬畏，似乎也看見了她試圖在不斷來回的刷擠中，去交會裂天而降的神的光芒。

黃亞紀在日常物件裡藏匿詭譎的光，好像在一切靜止的平凡中無端騷動著什麼。看起來既是無聲的，卻又私語著什麼；看起來是無人存在的，卻又暗示著某種在場；看起來是靜止的，卻又不那麼地安靜。

過多的延長使得時間感消逝了，還剩下什麼……。林冠名始終保持著一種冷調的詩性，不陳述什麼，不解釋什麼，用一種古典的質感讓冰冷的機械影像累積、溫存觀者的溫度，用不經意的速度。

光，在姚仲涵的手中不斷地被具體化。所以光可以有速度，光可以有節奏，光可以在人的移動裡被控制它的反應，光也可以透過聲音讓你聽見它自己。

The third exhibition “Blink” invites people to interact with multiple media art works. We introduce you to experience the being of light itself by your breath, your body movement and your spirit. It is not only for your entertainment, but also for your concentration with light.

Jiun-Yang Li uses black light and growing in the dark ink to draw enough illumination in order to summoning the invisible mysterious world.

What left when the time goes by… Guan-Ming Lin always keeps a poetical tone to his work. Using a kind of classical texture to apply on the cold digital image and it attracts the audience’s participation gradually.

Light becomes a concrete thing from Chung-Han Yao’s installation. Thus we can see its reaction from our movements; we can hear light itself through the sound.

呂東興台南個展-為愛走天涯

呂東興的駭俗陽具恐龍這次要在純樸的台南仁德鄉駐腳了。可能因為先前在八月結束的台北藝術博覽會上囂張了太用力，所以需要曬曬南部的太陽，在102藝術舒服小巧的空間裡喘口氣……。「雖然都是陽具的變體，大部份卻沒有想著關於性的事情」，呂東興屢屢被問及使用陽具圖像的動機時，總是透露他其實比較傾向政治的批判，只是把罵人的方式轉化詼諧一點而已。所以才能讓不少人在他的陽具恐龍作品前哈哈大笑或是神會莞爾。

才在剛落幕不久的台北國際藝術博覽會場上以巨大聳動雕塑引起話題之後，台灣藝術家呂東興在金枝藝術舉辦的首次個展於9月7日盛大開幕，展覽至10月26日。

呂東興早期便以陽具作為創作的主軸語彙，而陽具的使用乃源自於語言上的轉換；呂東興平日慣用台語溝通，而台語普遍又常以性器官作為傳述的假借用詞。將這語言上的假借轉換為圖像，刻意使用被社會規範為沒教養的語言，挑戰在台灣主流社會階層裡對於文雅的既有定義。而，作品永遠跟著創作者的性格走，呂東興天生的幽默、樂觀與熱情，讓他的作品邊帶著批判的隱晦，卻又讓人看了忍不住發笑。
除了那些個劇烈騷動的陽具怪獸，呂東興的<媽媽我愛妳>系列卻呈現了呂東興不同於威猛恐龍的靜謐世界。這系列也包含巨大的作品 <膦神>(註2)，這應是呂東興屬於自己的造神紀念，或許也來自於他曾經造塑佛像雕塑的經驗，很自然地便要造一個陽具之神，還圍繞著嬰靈好顯示這神的威武與震懾。另外葉子造型的<媽媽我愛妳>系列，用葉子表徵母親的子宮，而葉子上的陽具變體動物則是這些嬰靈們此生唯一見過的「動物」。(照呂東興的說法，那是嬰靈的父母在行房時唯一可見的生物，因為只見前頭不見尾，這陽具的下半身就只好各憑想像了)

註1：「不癲不戒」台語發音為「put tian put kai」，該詞由描述濟公的隨性風格而來，意為不三不四。

註2: 「膦神」音同台語<懶神>，膦的正確寫法是「尸」裏加「鱗」去掉「鱗」字的魚（「鱗」去魚上方加尸）取自台華雙語辭典，但電腦無此字，以『膦』代之。

Put tian put kai “(1) – Tung-Hsing Lu’s exhibition {The dinosaur was caught spanking the monkey}
After ending the Art Taipei fair 2008 where just brought up an extensive topic about a giant sculpture, the Taiwanese artist Tung-Hsing Lu starts his first solo exhibition at JIN-ZHI GALLERY in September 7, 2008 and the exhibition will continue till Oct 26, 2008.
In the early work of Tung-Hsing Lu, he already used penis form for his sculpture vocabulary. In deed, the idea of penis form is derived from the use of language conversion. Lu usually speaks Taiwanese as his dialectic language, and Taiwanese language in general often take as a sexual organ to reference the name of the term. Lu deliberately uses this language reference which is defined as uncultured language in the society into his visual aspect. This is a challenge regarding elegant already has the definition in the Taiwan mainstream social class.
Therefore, work forever with artist’s character. Tung-Hsing Lu’s natural humor, optimism and enthusiasm for his work with a critical edge of obscurity, and yet people can not help but laugh read.
Apart from a severe disturbance of the penis dinosaur, Lu’s sculpture serious- “I Love you, mom” but represents Lu’s overwhelming power dinosaur is different from his inner quiet world as well as the work “Cocky king” (2). This should be made of Lu’s own commemoration of God, and perhaps he had made from the experience of making Buddha sculptures and quite naturally will have to create a penis God with also revolves the infant spirit to work demonstrated this god the military might and frightens. Besides, the sculpture serious “I love you, mom” is characterized the mother's womb by the form of leave, and the penis variations of these animals on the leaves are only seen "animal” by infants spirits. (As Lu said, the animal is the only obvious biology when the parents of infants spirits having sexual intercourse. Because it sees only ahead of the end of male genitals, for the rest of body can only be imagined with all.)

呂東興個展【恐龍打手槍 8.26-10.26.2008 】

雞冠莿桐蹦開了兩朵小紅花，底下兩隻為愛走天涯的恐龍相約去看池子裡的烏龜家族，沒多遠的前方，蜥蜴大陣仗地往田中間的方向匍伏前進。這炎熱的天，陽光正燦爛著。一不小心看到恐龍在打手槍……。

每次看呂東興熟練地堆土塑型都覺得很過癮，又快又好的功夫一覽無遺。沉沉的量感、飽滿的張力，讓他的作品在這個扁平的世代多了往不同方向去的力量，當大多數人都在往上飛飄的時候，呂東興的雕塑卻要往土地裡穩穩地著力。性格裡的大器、爽朗又細膩，以及一種有著田間稻穗香味的「非都市人質感」，再混以常被他母親叨念說是不癲不戒(註1)的怪誕創作想法，於是便在泥土裡指掌間成形這次首度個展裡的怪誵世界(註2)。
金枝藝術將推出呂東興怪誕不正經的雕塑個展，並於今年八月底的台北國際藝術博覽會同期成為主打。博覽會現場將出現一隻3公尺高、身長6公尺的變體大恐龍，這隻大恐龍是由呂東興2004年作品<為愛走天涯之三>衍伸而來。另外還有限量的「類公仔」供想要入門收藏的藝術愛好者嚐鮮。

Two glans dinosaurs intimately falling in love and running side by side across the world going to look the turtle family in the pond; not far away front, the large lizard weaponry crawls the advance toward the field. This hot summer day, the sunshine bright on the sky and incautiously the dinosaur is caught spanking the monkey…
Each time looked at Tung-Hsing Lu pile of sculpture model with excellent skills, the good time takes in everything at a glance quickly. Lu’s fundamental sculptural techniques create substantial structure and solid strength, which allow him to explore various dimensions beyond the flat horizon of the ordinary world. While most others fixate on aiming to rise above the ground, Tung-Hsing Lu’s sculpture stubbornly strives to root into the deep land below.
In the disposition great talent, frank also is exquisite, as well as one kind has the field ear fragrance“the non-urbanite sense of reality”, again mixes by often been talking by his mother said “put tian put kai” (note 1) weird creation idea in, therefore then the fingers and the palm forms this time in the soil to unfold for the first time the “kuài siâu” world (note 2).
Following our opening ground exhibition in May, we will next be launching Tung-Hsing Lu’s solo exhibition, which will also be part of the Art Taipei Fair in the end of August 2008. Representing Jin-Zhi Glallery in the Art Taipei fair will be a nearly three-meter high and six-meter long giant variant dinosaur originally transformed from the sculpture work of “VELOCIRAPTOR-EXPLORING FOR LOVE 3” by Tung-Hsing Lu in 2004. In addition, there will also be a limited number of “bronze figures” available for collection for entry level collectors.

李詩儀介紹 | About SHIH-YI LEE

李詩儀1979年出生於台北市，2003年台北藝術大學畢業。2004年於台北當代美術館參展「出神入畫」影像聯展，2004年於韓國光州市立美術館參展「愛之維谷-台灣當代繪畫的迴旋曲式」繪畫聯展，2006於韓國及北京參加亞洲藝術家聯展。

1979 born in Taipei Taiwan. 2003 graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts.
In 2004 selected to two group exhibitions「Spellbound Aura The New Vision of Chinese Photography」in Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei and「Scylla and Charybdis in Love: The Challenges Facing Contemporary Taiwanese Artists」in Gwangju Art Museum, Korea. 2006 joined other Asian artists for exhibitions in Korea and Beijing.

鄭政煌1965年生於台灣彰化。1991年畢業於中國文化大學美術系，2002年於國立台北藝術大學美術創作研究所版畫組畢業。1991年首次個展於華岡博物館之後陸續舉辦個展與參與聯展。其作品屢獲大獎，諸如1996年第六屆版畫大獎、1998年台北獎、1999年第九屆中華民國國際版畫及素描雙年展版畫類金牌獎與第六屆的巴黎大獎等多項殊榮。鄭政煌以多元的媒材與呈現樣貌傳遞相當前衛的版畫觀念，所關注的意象也多是生與死的探討。

CHENG-HUANG CHENG
1965 born in Changhua Taiwan. 1991 graduated from Department of Fine Art, Chinese Culture University. 2002 graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts, The Graduate School of Fine Arts, majored in printmaking. In 1991, after his first solo exhibition at Hwa Kang Museum, he keeps on having solo or group exhibitions. His works won several grand prizes, such as 1996 The 6th Annual Printmaking Award, 1998 Taipei Award, Gold Medal of 1999 The 9th International Biennial Print & Drawing Exhibition Taipei, and The 6th Annual Grand Award of Prix De Paris. Cheng is well in using all kinds of media to present a new conception of print art.

黃步青1948年生於台灣彰化鹿港，現任教於成功大學建築系，法國巴黎大學造型藝術碩士。擅長使用水、木、草、鐵等這些原生材料或已去功能的物質做為媒材，在畫、立體造型、多媒體藝術、環境藝術等多元創作形式上呈現某種宗教情懷的神秘意識。1990年首次個展，此後每年定期推出聯展與個展多次。1998年展出「凝視與形塑－後二二八世代的歷史觀察」於台北市立美術館，1999年受邀以「野宴」代表台灣參加威尼斯雙年展。

1948 born in Changhua Taiwan. Currently teaches at Department of Architecture, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Master's degree, Department of Plastic Arts, University of Paris St-Denis, France. He uses raw materials such as water, wood, grass and iron or dysfunctional materials as media to work in painting, three-dimensional modeling, multimedia, environment art and so on. Those multiple creations are capable of presenting certain religious and mystical feelings. In 1990 unfolded for the first solo exhibition, since then solo and group exhibitions were holding these years. In 1998 selected to「Reflection and Reconsideration: 228 Commemorative Exhibition」Taipei Fine Arts Museum, 1999 represented Taiwan for The 48th Venice Biennial.

李錦繡介紹 | About JIIN-SHIOW LII

李錦繡
李錦繡1953年生於台灣嘉義。1972-76年國立台灣師範大學美術系畢業。1984年入法國文化部所屬國立巴黎高等裝飾藝術學院造形藝術第二階段（碩士）空間藝術部，畢業時獲得「塔龍斯」首獎。1986年畢業返國定居台南，兼任現國立台南大學美術系講師。2001-03年獨居工作室，2003年病逝台南成大醫院安寧病房。李錦繡擅長以平面繪畫表現空間的穿透與重置、色彩的精準拿捏(尤其擅於處理中間色調)以及線條的靈動。自1977年起，曾與同儕創自由畫會、現代眼畫會、麒麟畫會、2號公寓等。

LII JIIN-SHIOW
1953 born in Chiayi Taiwan. 1976 graduated from the Department of Art, National Taiwan Normal University. 1984 graduated from L’Ecole Nationale Superieure Des Arts-Decoratifs and won the first prize of Prix Talens. 1986 after graduation settled down in Tainan and as a lecturer in Department of Art, National University of Tainan. 2001-2003 lived alone in her studio, 2003 passed away in National Cheng Kung University Hospital Hospice. Lii’s paintings showed penetration and reconstruction of space, precise measurement of color (especially mid-tone) and nimble flows of lines, those were her excellence. From 1977, found several painting associations such as Liberty, Modern Eyes, Kylin and Apartment No.2 with her generation.

1965年生於台灣。現於國立台灣藝術大學多媒體動畫藝術系暨研究所擔任專任助理教授。分別在1989年與1994畢業於國立台北藝術大學美術系創作組與美術研究所藝術史組，於2004年取得英國布萊頓大學藝術與傳播研究所藝術博士資格。1982年於台首度個展灣之後陸續舉辦個展與參與國內外聯展。並於1994年獲加拿大楓葉獎國際大展新人銅楓獎，以及在2002年榮獲英國貝克獎（錄像藝術）。

In 1989 and 1994 graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts with B.F.A and M.A Fine Art degrees. In 2004 Chen got his PhD of Arts and Communication from The University of Brighton, UK. 黃進河1956生於台灣嘉義，他的創作靈感來自台灣在地次文化的啟迪，並且以一種超巨大的尺幅，召喚存在於民間駁雜的宗教、習俗及傳統記憶。他的巨型繪畫永遠都是充塞擁擠，作品中光怪陸離的意象、雜紛且荒謬的物慾，都是來自於他對社會價值模型及環境變異的觀察與研究，並且以誇張的民俗宗教符碼、荒誕不經的文化異象，反映台灣艷俗文化草莽卻又難以自制的生猛力道。

1956 born in Chiayi Taiwan. His inspiration comes from Taiwanese local subculture, and use giant scale to summoned religion, custom, and traditional memory that exist in the public. His huge paintings are always crowded, and images are in grotesque shapes with gaudy colors, these ideas come form his observation and investigation of social value, as well as environment differentiation. Use exaggerated religion symbols and chimerical culture images to reflect the vulgarness of Taiwanese culture and yet it’s an explosive raw power.

座落於苑裡田中央的台灣當代藝廊：金枝藝術，在5月10日傍晚伴隨著歡喜鼓聲的獅陣，正式拉啟了<金枝莩蘡>開幕展的序幕。
<金枝莩蘡>的開幕酒會，除了來自台灣北中南的觀眾, 很榮幸地，許多藝術文化界的重要人士也陸續到場，諸如國藝會董事長黃明川、北美館展覽組組長張芳薇、高美館典藏組吳慧芳、田園城市出版社社長陳炳槮、角頭音樂發行人張四十三、發行台灣紀錄片的同喜文化發行人林睿育、VT非常廟姚瑞中、LOUIS VUITTON店長陳詩晴等以及許多中生代及新生代藝術家與藏家們一起共襄盛舉。
至於開幕酒會的重頭戲：由林強和”鐵樹boyz”(為年輕藝術家張暉明及葉廷皓合組)攜手合作的電腦音像現場演出，在”鐵樹boyz”精心設計的簡潔可愛舞台上，讓金枝的大草坪瞬間都夯了起來。另外還有在開幕當晚才有的特別呈現，便是陳永賢的錄像作品<軀體>投影在藝廊空間外池子邊的牆上，作品在池子裡的倒影隨著苑裡的海風搖曳。金枝藝術開張的第一次開幕酒會，在電音式的浪漫裡順利落幕。接下來，歡迎您來金枝在藝術裡散步，慢慢呼吸，慢慢開心。

前言：
五月十日星期六，苑裡綠油油田中間裡的新畫廊-金枝藝術歡喜開幕，當日開幕酒會現場，邀請林強及年輕藝術家"鐵樹boyz"結合電腦音樂與電腦影像，在特殊設計的廟景舞台上演出，要讓大家在金枝藝術的大草坪上high翻天。

展覽則由七位台灣中新生代藝術家擔綱呈現，參展藝術家有：黃進河、黃步青、李錦繡、陳永賢、鄭政煌、呂東興及李詩儀。

莩蘡，台語拼音為【puh inn】，發芽之義。
傳說在植物休息了一個冬季之後，在新芽冒出枝頭的那一刻所產生的力道會讓地球產生了0.002千克米每二次方秒(kg·ms-2)的震動，而這個大家不易察覺的搖晃卻連結了所有生態的平衡並且帶來一切氣息的欣欣向榮。
一間在田中央用清水模成形的藝廊可以在台灣的藝術生態裡扮演什麼角色，接續著在金黃稻浪裡的展覽又可以引起什麼樣的回饋與反應。在預測那個不得而知又充滿驚奇的未來之前，在醞釀了一段時日之後，如同枝椏出芽般地，苑裡的鄉間也來了些生氣躍動著……。呂東興的暴龍系列<為愛走天涯>將在藝廊門前的綠色草地上演狂烈的馳奔；金枝空間裡特有的八米高二十米寬的大牆將掛上黃進河的<福如東海>與<壽比南山>，審判現今浮華生活中混淆的價值體系；黃步青運用原生材料或失能的物質以如詩的裝置敘述生命的感知與經歷；李錦繡用殘影的交疊在<家族系列>裡召喚異次元時空的片段記憶，讓當下的我們很不自禁地帶了點帳然來撿拾她的才華；鄭政煌的<火與惑>裝置要成為火光，好教人從黑暗深淵底有了認證適合自己的光明之路；陳永賢一貫以身體作為通往生命意象的轉經輪，將展出攝影輸出作品<蛆‧人>與錄像作品<蛆體>；最為年輕的藝術家李詩儀則在她簡潔又叛逆的畫面上，用輕世代無所謂的調調來陳述一些其實不太能輕鬆面對的人與事。
